- Mini-lectures, Q&A, video materials, etc.
The Department offers students a versatile format of final exams:
- Experiments, with students individually holding experiments;
- Academic writings;

For each exam method, teachers apply pre-formulated assessment rubrics developed together with students.
The learning process aims to unlock the student’s individuality, skills, and abilities.
At the initiative of the Department of Natural Sciences, in the Georgian-American School of Batumi, the week of natural sciences is held annually, within which students present their projects and presentations.
The Young Chemists Club also operates within the School, with its members being students interested in natural sciences, who regularly participate in Olympiads and conferences.
The subject called “science” is also taught in the Georgian-American School of Batumi to the 4th to 9th graders, with the subject aiming to help students expand their natural sciences vocabulary/terminology and help them pursue their studies in this field abroad.
A memorandum has also been signed between The Georgian American School of Batumi and the BAU International University Hospital, based on which students of our School may visit their laboratories.
