The Georgian-American School of Batumi will be resuming the teaching process virtually on March 16
Given the current interagency council's recommendations for the prevention of the possible spread of the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and for the safety of our school students, teachers, and administrative staff, the Georgian-American School of Batumi will virtually resume its spring semester on March 16.
We will use the EDUPAGE platform for distance learning. The Georgian-American School of Batumi has been using the platform since its opening.
Due to the new necessity, with the efforts of the schools’ Information Technology Technical Team, the EDUPAGE platform will be upgraded to provide distance learning opportunities for students in the virtual classroom:
- Video and audio lectures;
- Presentations and other extracurricular materials;
- Tests;
- Ability to interact and get feedback from the teacher.
At GASB, the distance learning process will continue until the epidemic caused by the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19) is stabilized.
Wishing everyone health.
