March 21 - World Down Syndrome Day
March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day.
The goal of this day is to provide the public with information about Down syndrome, protect the rights of people with Down syndrome, and ensure their participation in active life.
Teachers at the Georgian-American School of Batumi presented informative presentations to students to raise awareness on this day.
Students at our school drew pictures, made informational banners, and wore colorful socks, symbolizing acceptance and support for diversity.
