Its World Read Aloud Day!
February 5, 2025 is World Book Day!
The goal of the Georgian-American School of Batumi is to join the international initiative and become part of this large-scale global event.
Elementary school students celebrated World Book Day with special activities, including:
- Creating a character map, a narrative map, books, and dioramas.
- Bringing book characters to life.
Under the guidance of the Department of Foreign Languages, students learned about World Book Day, its importance, and its global impact on literacy and education.
The second and most important part of the activity was to read aloud and artistically interesting stories presented in English, to identify the plot and characters, and to lead a discussion around the topics based on what they had read.
