November 14 is the birthday of Astrid Lindgren, the grandmother of all children in the world. With her kind deeds, humanity and wisdom, she seems to be still with us today. 🧸 Astrid Lindgren is a person who constantly reminds us that there is a child living in all of us.

At the Batumi Georgian-American School, fun activities were held for elementary school students on the occasion of Astrid Lindgren's birthday:

• Grade I students got acquainted with episodes from the writer's works and drew interesting characters for them.
• Grade II, III and IV students read adventure episodes from the writer's works, created dioramas and brought Astrid's characters to life: the Bullerby children, Peppy, Carlson and others.
• Students of grades V-VI learned interesting facts about the writer's life, watched a film about Astrid Lindgren, and then tested their knowledge by participating in an intellectual game.

The day dedicated to Astrid Lindgren turned out to be fun and educational for the students.
