Testing students in math for the robotics club
In the Georgian-American School of Batumi, the selection test of students in mathematics was held for the robotics club.
As a result of the testing, students will be selected who will be trained in robot programming. Five students will be selected in the V-VI age category, the same number - in the VII-VIII age category.
Based on the knowledge and skills demonstrated in the classes, one group (consisting of 3 students) will be selected and recruited from the students of the Robotics Club in each age category, who will participate in the "World Robotics Olympiad".
The World Robotics Olympiad, which has been held since 2004, is a challenging cognitive competition where participants - young people living in different parts of the world - create and assemble robots, through which young people develop creative thinking, planning and problem-solving skills.
Today, the World Robotics Olympiad is held in 70 different countries. The number of participating countries and teams is increasing every year. The winning team from each country's competition is given the opportunity to participate in the International Finals of the World Robotics Olympiad, held in November each year in a different host country.
