Ceramics MasterClass -Third Grade
Extracurricular activities are periodically held for the students of the Georgian-American School of Batumi, this time the III grade students visited the Art Studio "Andamat", where they took a master class on working with clay.
Working with clay is the only art form where there is direct contact between the person and the material, without auxiliary tools.
During tactile contact, there is an exchange of energy and mood between the artist and the natural material. Clay is like a living organism, it breathes, obeys you (or does not obey you), has individual character and properties.
Therefore, to achieve the result, it is important that there is a "positive dialogue" between the material and the artist. During the workshop filled with fun, therapeutic, creative activities, students made souvenirs with their own hands.
