President's Day 2022
In the United States, Presidents Day is celebrated on the third Monday of each year. This day is a federal holiday for government agencies, banks, the post office and schools. Officially, this holiday is associated with the birthday of President George Washington and was declared a federal holiday in 1879 to celebrate the birthday of America's first president - February 22nd.
Grade VI and VII students of the Georgian-American School in Batumi attended the President's Day event, where they participated in a variety of fun activities.
