GASB Chess School Club
There is a chess school club for I-VI grade students at the Georgian-American school of Batumi . In a chess club, students develop skills such as purposefulness and easy overcoming of obstacles. Chess is an intellectual game in which elements of art, science and sports are organically combined. Chess promotes the development of thinking, logic, concentration, self-criticism, striving for victory and more.
Chess plays a special role in the development of a student's cognitive skills. Promotes the development of logical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills. One of the main principles of chess is that a person learns to calculate a few steps in advance.
The certified chess club is led by Eter Turmanidze and Tornike Kalandadze.
