"Francophonie-2021" at GASB
March 20 is the International Day of "Francophonie", this day is celebrated all over the world, including Georgia, as a member of the International Organization of La Francophonie.
The term "Francophonie" refers to a set of countries that speak French and promote its values around the world.
The word Francophonie was first used by the French geographer Onesimus Reclus in 1880, since then Francophonie has become increasingly popular and covers more places thanks to globalization. In addition, French is one of the languages used by important international organizations such as the United Nations and the International Olympic Committee.
During the month dedicated to the Francophonie Days at Georgian-American School of Batumi, various activities will be carried out, in which V-X grade students of the school will be involved.
